Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer

Wow!!! I am so encouraged after our book club meeting. It was an awesome time of sharing, caring, and praying. We are only into the first three chapters of the book and I can see the transformations that are happening. Today we did a mind clearing icebreaker. We started the meeting with a one minute activity where you sit and write down whatever came to mind. Then we completed another list at the end of the meeting. Talk about being transformed by the renewing of your mind, that is exactly what happened. Ladies thank you again for spending your time with me. I am so excited to see what God is going to do to and through us.

As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he: (Prov 23:7)

This scripture has been a mirror for me today. It started yesterday, but seemed to carry over into this morning. I woke this morning with a drab spirit. I knew that I needed to run to the presence of the Lord quickly. Some people call it the wrong side of the bed, but I call it embracing the wrong spirit and listening to the wrong voice. Riding down the street I turned on my radio as usual to WGNN. When I turned it on the man said, "Wake up! Can't you watch with me for one hour." That stung me, because that is how I felt asleep. I was dragging, but this dragging was allowing an open door to the enemy to bring me down. Living wide awake isn't always easy. It's sometimes harder to stay awake than you would think. There are so many things that lullaby you to sleep. The word is what keeps me awake and moving closer and closer to my destiny. I must change my thinking if I'm going to stay awake and change my direction.

Battlefield Of The Mind by Joyce Meyers

We had our first book club meeting last week. Thank you ladies for always showing up. The conversations were great, the company was awesome, and the prayer was life changing. Thank you for sharing a piece of your time with me. Our next book club meeting will be on the 4th Thursday. Until then, let's get a conversation going about this book, process, and the journey we are about to embark upon.
